Milamna Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress as well as a comedian and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actor shortly after immigrating to the United States. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub, an Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and she fled antisemitism when she was two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out of the school after her sophomore year, earned an GED and then went to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
